Sitting with Michaela and hearing her vision for female empowerment and self-care had been a joyous experience. We conceptualized, executed, and promoted multiple campaigns during this period and grew to love what the brand initially stood for. We made the previous approach, Afriderms original voice, and modernized it in today’s culture in order to communicate to a newer generation of African women. We didn’t have to dig deep to see how strong, powerful, and feminine Afriderm was, and promoting campaigns around that was a delight. We redeveloped the website, as well, in order to create a more clean, modern look and feel while still maintaining the original brand visual communication such as golden lines, brown highlights, and soft pink.
