They needed their brand voice to be stronger and had been quite saturated in the market. Techouse recently launched a B2C division and in doing so, rebranded in order to be more end-client-centered. We enjoyed redeveloping a friendly, approachable, and sophisticated voice and the different channels that communicate it appropriately to their audience. The rebranding was simple, clean, and minimalistic and the website we made complimented the shift.

]]>Sikkim State Co-operative Bank Limited also known as SISCO Bank was granted license by the Reserve Bank of India for opening the first and the only co-operative bank in the state of Sikkim in the year 1997. The Bank has been working with an objective of safe keeping of deposits of Sikkimese people and providing finance.
The bank caters for high disposable income clients, and requires the same face as their services. Our research insights suggested trustworthiness and likability are the key components within this specific industry, so we suggested rebranding SISCO in order to better communicate that message to their market. Right from research, insights, planning, conceptualisation through to our design process – the results were amazing. We generated better traction , brand loyalty and familiarity.

We absolutely love the household brand and jumped at the opportunity to deliver consistent social media marketing for Astrum. The blue in their logo is a very unique color and we used this as their consistent make throughout their media, on their posters, and as a solid guideline.
We renovated the website for Astrum, in order to give it a cleaner and more modern look and feel, with an easy interface and eCommerce platform.
The results were a more lifestyle brand and better traction from their target audience. There was engagement with the posts and communication developed between the brand and people. It came to life.

]]>Yukta was passionately searching for a way to express herself, her femininity, and her love for fashion unapologetically. She wanted a modern brand that has a delicate balance of soft feminine qualities with a strong voice in relation to self-love. A combination of gentle and bold.
Developing a brand from the ground up took patience, diligence, and research in order to uncover what Yukta’s vision was for her identity. The result is a femme fatale, free-spirited, and high fashion combination brand. It entailed us creating a logo and typeface, tags and corporate collateral as well as color schemes, a personality and brand voice along with a brand guide.

]]>After copious amounts of brainstorming, research, and way too much coffee, we came to the conclusion that the personality of the brand communicates a bold, African, and dominant style that directly translates to the target audience. The results were primary colors, street-based images, and a combination logo made of geometric lines with rounded edges. Aidgears distributes printer ink and in order to steer away from the generic clutter of saying it’s quality color, the brand and advertising show it’s a good color.
The print campaign images are printed with their ink. We took a tongue-in-cheek approach with a play on the words “ink” which relates to tattoos as well as the cartridge ink and delivered a campaign around the permanency of the product. The attitude that it confidently portrays stems from the same attitude the client professionally gave us during a think-tank session – and it stuck.

]]>The Fox Boxx was a concept derived from chit-chat around a table in a comfortable coffee lounge, on the South Coast of Durban. The playful, colorful, and unique fast-frozen meal brand derived from a dream about paying it forward to the community. The idea of a quick fox, which implied the easy-to-cook meals had many layers of meaning and depth to articulate what the client wanted to communicate truly.
It was an adventure exploring the project’s genesis and seeing it come together through collaboration with the client and its employees. The process was as beautiful as the end product. The logo, website, food packaging, and social media all have a touch of bold, playful colors and lines in order to bring out the inner child of the brand and echo the vision statement which is about authenticity.

From mood boards and color schemes to a logo and corporate collateral, we dived deep into the essence of the brand which consisted of reliability, friendliness, and neutral tones. Collaborating with Christo to create something unique and simple, the results were amazing.

]]>Starting a brand is challenging, especially in the food industry during covid times. Even so, Lava decided to open up a 5-start restaurant in the heart of Johannesburg, South Africa to serve luxury experiences and gourmet meals. The couple’s vision for Lava was to communicate and establish a memorable brand that would be consistent and have regular visitation by their clients. Customer experience was the most fundamental part for them.
We brought together a sensational twist to the food industry by only applying lifestyle images, and using basically no images of the meals. This was to encourage the experience of Lava, rather than what their clients would be eating. A golden thread was used in all the collateral in order to keep the message and voice consistent. Multiple campaigns were used to encourage consumers to visit the restaurant and the results were a full house on Christmas and a solid reputation in the neighborhood.
